Imogen Gibson

I started dancing at the Jane Wheeler School of Dance at the age of 6. I danced here until I was 16 years old taking part in the annual shows and taking my RAD ballet exams. Jane inspired me to take my dancing further and at 16 I gained a place at KS Dance Ltd where I trained professionally for three years. I gained my Level 6 Diploma in professional dance and my Diplomas in Dance Education in three subjects: Cecchetti Ballet, ISTD Tap, ISTD Modern Theatre. Upon graduation I danced professionally in touring and hotel shows in Cyprus and Morocco. I then went onto dance in the parades and be a character performer at Disney Land Paris. I returned home to Barnoldswick and started taking a couple of classes for Jane, I had found a passion in teaching and feel very lucky to have taken over the school from Jane, A school that is very close to my heart. I hope to inspire the children just like Jane inspired me.
